Post-installation Customer Checklist
Purchasing a PowerShield system is a great start, but for best results you want to be sure it has been installed and configured correctly.

Checklist:

View installation - If possible, view the hardware installation and confirm it is tidy.

Commissioning document - This document is available with every PowerShield
system. It lists alarm limits set and confirms basic operation. We recommend
requesting this as a project sign-off.

Link software - If you will be monitoring your own batteries, ensure that Link has been properly installed and full communication has been confirmed. Full training may or may not be part of your installation contract, but we recommend at least a brief demonstration. Full manuals are available via the Link Help menu.

Battery discharge test - We recommend a battery discharge test at commissioning where possible. This test becomes a reference for future data.

Alarms - Ideally, there will be no alarms present on a newly installed system. However, if there are, ensure that your installer can confirm why. Ensure that any alarms (high temperature, monoblock voltage etc) are acted upon and faults rectified.

Monitoring system - If you are monitoring your own batteries, have you implemented a plan to ensure data is examined and any alarms investigated?
